i bought some new gas struts for the CRX hatch from jcwhitney, and i got the right side on. the left side doesnt match up for some reason, even though the struts are marked left and right. i tried switching sides with the two and that doesnt work. is there a way to turn the strut so the bolts match up and the swivel thing at the top clicks into the ball?

that stinks, sorry you had to use jcwhitney. i dont trust their fitment at all.

 

make sure the spring is seated properly.
