tried to get an alignment yesterday, but they couldn't do it...
because my car was hit in the rear. i can't afford to have someone try to straighten it, and i doubt it's worth it anyway; can i do anything to fix this myself?
the problem is about 1.5 degrees of toe-out on the right rear. i've inspected the control arms and strut assembly and nothing seems visibly damaged or bent, although quite obviously SOMETHING is. is there any way i can bang the drum back to where it needs to be with a rubber mallet or something? or am i beyond hope?

I had a bent wheel, when I hit a curb. It pushed my front passenger side wheel foward, and in. I went to the junk yard, and got a new knickle, control arm, and strut support rod. I put it in, and it was close to straight. None of the parts looked bent, even when I put them next to eachother. To make the wheel straight, I had to bend that piece on the body that supports the inner lower control arm. I had this done profesionally. It costs about 400 to fix it all, included... Junk yard parts, new rim, swap tires, and shop time to bend back lower arm support. Your problem could be any or all of these problems. Ryan
Get a full rear disk swap from a 90-91 CRX Si. Install it all with the control arms that come with it. Take it back to have an alignment done. Voila, fixed alignment and disk upgrade for less than$300.
tell you the truth if u didnt hit a curb, and were hit in the rear, most likely the frame is bent. Dont bother trying to replace ****, I'd just deal with it and save up for a new EF.

One of the easy places to bend up the rear is where the lower member attaches to the body, If you have seen a lower rear bar, this is where the bar bolts up. See if there are any dents on the channel between the two points. If there are dents, you could try to pull it out with a rented portapower.
