Here's a little one to get things going. I can't wait until this puppy comes to North America to boost the slumping sales of the poor little Si/SiR hatchback.

There's been nothing like it ever before in the North American market - and I think that Honda will have much success in both the younger and older market segments.

 

so its been confirmed to come to north america?? or just canada?? show me proof!

 

it hasnt been confirmed. The one magazine is getting everyone hype saying its coming when even in the article says Honda hasnt confirmed the release.

 

damn...i also hope that the dc5r comes too.....but its likely the ctr will be here first

Is it just me or is the white one so much better than the silver? The silver looks kinda ugly actually.

 

Why would they bring the CTR here when the Si is barely selling as it is? Just makes no sense at all.

 

that would be cool if they just made the Si with the ctr body and 5 lug

 

there was a guy on here with a beautiful 30th ann. CTR with the JDM recaros and such who posted pics- seems like the thread dissapeared.

 

The slow sale of the Si is the exact reason why Honda should bring over the CTR.

what's the last car in the back? looks like Accord Type-R, but can't tell. just wondering.

 

yeah thats the Accord Type R the european version of the accord looks diffirent than the US one but i think the new ones look the same

 

The US Acura TSX looks like the Accord Type R.

Let's try not to make this another debate/rumor discussion about if the CTR is actually coming to North America.

This is for the optimists, such as myself, who truly believe Honda Motor Company of North America will treat us to the 30th Ann. Civic Type R - which they truly should, considering Honda made a huge amount of its sales in our North American market.

 

Do you guys find it odd that this one was constructed and pictured in a LHD configuration?

Does this hint to something?

What? If I'm not mistaken, they drive on the left side of the road in the UK, which means that they have RHD (right-hand drive) automobiles.

 

Might be pictures of the CTR for Netherlands or something. But what I'm saying, is that they are already equipped for the N.A. LHD configuration!

The new TSX is the new euro/jdm Accord, and we only have a Type-S so far...

the car in that pic is a completly different car as you can see
