I took it for the first spin....BOV made no sound (greddy typr r) why!?!?, I have the vac line hooked up on the same line as the wastegate(teed to spot on back of intake manifold) and the wastegate works fine as well as my boost guage on another spot on the manifold...went up to 6psi...also, car felt dead from vacuum until l it hit 0 psi then it hesitated for a sec then it felt a little better as it spooled. I'm running open downpipe until I can get to my neighbor's shop Monday if that changes anything.

and its a t3/t4 on an h22a4.....vortec 10:1 fmu, walbro pump, tial wastegate.

how much lbs you running? The greddy type R bov is for high-boost application (above 15lbs i think). It wont open up (and make the woooshhh sound) at low boost.

 

uhhh....6psi...if thats true, it makes sense, but can I adjust it at all???

 

the type R has a stiffer springs in comparison than the type S, ...

try an independent vac source to the BOV

Took the car for another spin....falls on its face when it hits boost and 1/5 times will pull a little but most of the time feels slower than ever....wtf?!?!?!?
