Default eNeed Help With Head Swap

the motor in my car is an f22b2, i have a totaled 94ex with a f22b1, the haynes manual for the cars says that, teh engines are the same, the only difference is one has a v-tec valve train. Does anyone know if i can just switch the heads and computer and run an extra oil line, and wires? I DO NOT want to do a h22 swap because i need my car to goto work and I want it to seem stock, also would the non v-tec valve cover fit? You know the whole under cover rice rocket thing.

Are you kidding me? If I recall correctly, the non-vtec motors have the spark plugs towards the rear of the valve cover, the vtec motors have the spark plugs up front. Don't you have both motors to look at?

Heh, I have an F22A6 ('92 EX SOHC non-VTEC) and F22B1 ('94 EX SOHC VTEC) being torn down in carport as I type. The comparison should be similar to your motors. I doubt all the oil and coolant ports between the block and heads will line up, but I'll let you know.
