dsm 450cc injectors

Default dsm 450cc injectors

how can you identify a dsm 450cc injector? aside from the blue color power connectors. any markings that i should look for?
i tried searching about this topic but i could find one.

Blue top, black tip = 1G DSM 450cc
Black top, green tip = 2G DSM 450cc

The flow rate is stamped on the side.

I thought dsm's were 440's

The DSM turbo models are 450. RC uses 440.

so the one in the picture is the 2G dsm injector right? when you say tip is it where the fuel squirts out or is it where it is connected to the fuel rail? sorry..i'm not too familiar with injectors. hehe

do you happen to have a picture of the whole injector?

Are there any 550cc DSM injectors? Also, what's the max HP you can get a b18c to with 450cc injectors, running AEM EMS?

the "tip" is the end where the fuel comes out. If it says something"450" on it, you are fine. Or, you could get them cleaned and flowed/balanced to know for sure. I'm sure there are threads on where to get your injectors cleaned.

is there any other mitsu engine other than a 4G63T where 450cc injectors are used? does the v6 galant engine use 450cc injectors? not quite sure of the engine code on the v6.

The vr6 galant and the mitsu lancer evo both have 510cc injectors but are far less common than the 450cc. You can boost 18psi (not highly recommended)on a B18 with a t3t4 with the proper fuel pressure which is said to be 40psi. I just made the 450cc dsm swap in my 94 integra gsr because i put a drag III kit on.
