Default Timing an 89DX....

I have and 89 DX, and i just did an MPFI swap, so with a new distributor i need to time my car. I understand that you cannot just plug in the timing gun and go, you have to jump some wires... What wires are they and where are they located??? Also any additional advice timing this car, as this will be the first time i have timed this car.
Thanks

Its in the driverside harness under the hood. Its kinda close to the head light. It will usually have a rubber cover on it. Just take the rubber off if and put a paper clip in it and time as needed

Yea, driver side fender near front usually has a yellow rubber cover. Short the pins and time it to the three notches, the center one is red (I believe). The single notch is TDC (white).
