i was driving today in almost a typoon and i noticed my intake getting really really loud, like i was going 100mph....i think water maybe got on the filter??? anyone else have this problem...its to dark to check my oil if its choclatly....

 

Ya not to get your hopes up, but after that happened to me I had to re-build my engine..........i would recommend an oil change right away......that may have saved me in my case.

 

check that oil first thing in the morning and if its bad then dont drive it..do an oil change immediately..if that would help..who knows?

yeah.. 100 mph in the rain?? But unless you are going threw giant puddles i don't think your intake will suck up that much water to hurt anything bad...

you shouldnt worry about that, your'e gonna know if your car is hydro-locked. you might wanna dry your distributor, and spark plugs, check your oil and change it.
