Default Just got a whole new system, how much to install?

I have two 10" Alpine Type-R's powered by a Phoenix Gold 600ti, is 300w RMS enough for these subs? I also have the type-r components, what amp should i use to power them? I have a Alpine 7995 HU, I might buy a pair of 6x9's for the rear and use the HU to power them. How does that sound? Also, would anyone know how much installation would run? car toys? circuit city?

THANKS

uhh...how much RMS are you speakers...if you say you're running 300RMS from the amp...you're looking at around 150x2...your RMS for your speakers might be from 200-300...but either way...your amp should be fine..although running 300RMS x 2 would be a lot better...are you sure you dont wanna install it yourself..its pretty simple...i had some stuff done at CIRCUIT...i believe they charge around this:

for amp:40-50.00 plus amp wiring kit which runs from 40-80.00
for subs:maybe 30-40.00
i called once for some 6 1/2 installs..they asked for 35.00 a pair

you have some type-r components...you should be able to run them directly from the HU...i did the same for my sony xplod components...then decided to amplify them and used an MTX4244 amp..which is 55-60 x 4 i believe..and it made a huge difference..with an amp powering your mids..you can adjust your highs in the front and the rear you can switch the amp to midrange and get some bass from them 6x9s...basically getting another amp for your mids allows you to fine tune your stuff more...

what amp should you use..its upto you...you can go cheap and get the best bang for your buck...california series amps are pretty decent...so are some JBL...make sure you get a 4channel amp and get one with hp/lp/midrange crossover...

i got mines on sale..it went from 300+...and i got it for 179.00 at circuit...you can find plenty of regular brand amps at crutchfield.com....they have plenty of affordable amps...

if i were you, you got mostly alpine stuff so i would get an alpine amp for the mids its up to you, pretty much any good amp will suit you but just a thought, keep your existing amp though

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! these prices scare the s**t out of me man!
you must know someone who can do it for some 'beers' you know, me and my friend did my whole install, wires were about $10 and everything was done probably better than 'circuit city'!!!!

just my opinion and dude, if you want step by stp instructions people here will be happy to help, its simpler than you think, amp tuning is the most complicated
