tranny fluid for jdm b16???
ok dont talk crap cause i already did a search and i didnt find anything. i have a b16 and i was wonderin what fluid to use for my tranny, i want to know good stuff not just stuff that will be "ok" so if anyone has any sugestions please help?
I only use Honda MTF. It's the best in my mind. I would stay away from 10-30
I have used both engine oil and honda MTF and redline and do not notice a difference in shifting at all. if you have hard shifting then trans oil type is probably not your problem.
I only use honda manual transmission fluid. By the way, here is the link that someone asked the same question 2 days ago.

I use 10w30 in my tranny. The tranny has always had a grind from second-third shift...it just got progressively worse... but, it's largely due to the 5000miles of racing placed on it.
