Hi,
First some background: My '96 civic had a '92 d16z6 engine and tranny in it previously, using the stock civic wiring harness and an OBDII-OBDI conversion harness.
I am swapping an OBDII '99 B20Z into the car, using a P75 OBDI LS ecu. Does the wiring harness for a stock '96 civic have the right connector to plug into the B20 distributor? We can't find this connector on the '96 harness, and I fear the previous owner had changed the plug out for an OBDI plug.
If the above was the case, would it be possible to swap the connector with the one from the '99 B20 harness, so it'll plug into the B20 distributor...and is this a difficult thing to do?
Thanks for reading!

yes it will plug into the distrubotr the only diffrence between 96-98 and 99^ is that the wire harness plugs are diffrent but u can get a conversion harness to fix that they are available at jdmhondaparts.com and yes u can just add in the connector u can just pin it in at the ecu if it's not there
