Possible to use an auto B20 wiring harness for my B20 into '96 CX?
Hey guys,
The previous owner of my car left the stock wiring harness...umm...not stock? (Cut plugs, missing connectors...)
I was wondering if it would be possible (and how difficult) to use the uncut harness that came with my '99 B20Z?
I know there are some things to leave out, like anything to do with the automatic transmission or AWD...just wondering if you guys think it will work.

99-00 switched to OBD2.5 wiring so it wouldn't work. I've never used a CRV harness but if it's a 1 piece design like the 96-00 Civic's and you have a 96, you would need to use a 96-98 harness for plug and play compatibility.

Would it work if I used an OBD2.5->OBD1 conversion harness with an OBDI LS ecu?
I don't see why it wouldn't work, since the harness came right off the engine...and yes it is the 1 piece design like the civic.

Well, it seems like the B20 harness has a B,C,and D plug..and the green interior plug. Aren't automatic wiring harnesses supposed to have an A,B,C, and D plug??
The b20 harness plugs into the B,C, and D slot...when it should plug into all 4 i think....my 99-00 OBDII -> OBDI conversion harness needs only A, B and C.
I'm quite sure it's a 1 piece design like the civics. I would use my stock harness but it's been cut and messed up with already....
