If running an AEM EMS do you need an Apexi AVCR?

Guys do you install both or do you need either one or the other?

i use the GM boost solenoid w/ my ems, it works decent

Mase have you found a limit to the GM seleniod or can i go as high as i want to. When you say it works decent is there any problms with it. I was hoping you would say it works great. I dont want to creep to high or be very inconsistant with boost levels.
