Default More boom without sacrificing SQ.

I currently have one Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D in a 1^ft3 enclosure with around 400W RMS going to it. I wanted a little more bass. The sub sounds great and the bass is plenty except for when I listen to Lords of Acid. When I listen to that kinda stuff I want my guts to explode. Anyway, would it be worth it to go with a 12W6V2 or should I get 2 10s or another 12.1D or what? Lemme know what you think.

Port the summa'bitch. You'll be plenty happy as long as the box is decent. If that is too extreme you might want to go with a larger sealed box.

I would try porting first. You should be able to easily squeeze another 3db.

As others already mentioned port the box. You lose some sound quality but nothing noticable IMO.
