Hit railroad tracks now boost gauge reads max boost all the time
I was driving behind a dumb drunk in a pickup truck and he switched into the opposing lane of traffic and was driving down it without realizing it was the wrong side of the road, I was behind him watching like WTF... and I saw some railroad tracks in front of me so I slammed on my brakes, hit the tracks with hard braking but going pretty slow, car died and wouldn't start the first 5 or 6 tries. If I gave it a lot of gas it would start, much more than I usually have to give it, and I limped to a gas station. My boost gauge reads 2.5bar whether the car is on or off. A/F is fine, EGTs aren't anything excessive, a quick glance at the lines and piping and it appears to be all good. Any ideas on what the problem could be? No time to check now, I gotta cram, just hoping you guys can give me some peace of mind by saying I probably didn't break anything major
. I thought a short drive would be a good study break from cramming for finals

I'm gonna hook up my laptop to see what boost level my EMS is reading after my finals, I hope its as simple as the line to the gauge came off... thanks in advance for some input
Have you taken a look UNDER the car? Might have dented your oil pan or such?
I have no idea about the boost gauge though...is it an Autometer? heh heh

Turns out the boost gauge needle was just stuck at the end of the gauge. I played with the warning level which caused it to free itself, after driving around for maybe 10 minutes it went back to being fluid in its movements. Car is running normally now, I think its all good
