Default Type-R anti theft idea...

I have an idea that might work pretty good for those R owners that have garages and are still worried. Record various garage work sounds such as drill gun, hammer, you cussing at yourself, and anything else you can think of for about 30min or so. Burn the recordings on to a CD. At night time when you are asleep hook a CD player up in your garage and let it play on repeat all night. For added realism put some music in the background as well. What thief in their right mind is going to break into a garage where some guy is actually working or at least sounds like it?

Depends on how long it is. If you record 8 hours of you working in the garage it would work.

I say have 2 big doberman's or Rottweiler's in the garage. If there's any noise, you know they're gonna start barking. Do that and lock your garage doors and cut the power to it as well. " why isn't the garage door opening??". I don't hear too many stories about ITR's being stolen in the garage's themselves. Its mostly when its stuck outside or something. damn theives. I heard some guy got his ITR stolen while he was at a shopping Mall. ?? ppl these days.

my luck the CD player would overheat or the plug would short out, and probably be sitting next to something flammable, then next thing you know the whole **** is on fire. :burn:

If you're car is in a garage there is no reason it should get stolen anyways. Just take extra measures securing the garage instead of going to all of the trouble of making a recording.
