i have d16a6 sitting in my garage waiting for the rebuild.
my turbo setup:
hf mani
1g DSM 14b
2g DSM SMIC
2.5' piping and downpipe
DSM 450cc injectors
vortech boost dependant fpr
i am going to run this 14b setup with new bearings, gasket kit, GOOD boost head gasket, hone & new rings. i am still going to use stock bottom end this season and i will build hardcore next winter. but for now i suppose i will be able to run up to 9psi. it will be in a lightend 88 hf crx (1780 w/driver).

tell me what you guys think. any worries? i have the motor on the stand right now. i drove my buddies turbo hatch last night and I NEED BOOST

Your going to have to ditch the fmu and get a smc or sfc to control those injectors.

 

Or chip the ECU for boost. :>

Well, there isnt officially any obd0 boost code... its all afc hacks with the stock sized tables (less table resolution).

 

you cant durn any obd0's?
