can you please add to my list of possible ways to lower my 11:1cr motor without changing out pistons:

1) greddy head gasket=...what is my new cr????
2) cosmetic head gasket=? fill me in on this... I'm not to familar with it.
3) ?????

 

A headgasket period! Will do it.... Or sand down the top of your pistons.

 

cometic head gaskets make different thicknesses and they will all effect you cpr. differently.. , is your chamber volume stock, what is the dish/dome volume in cc's.... what is the bore size.... how much is th e piston in the hole in .000"... and how much volume is your head gasket gonna take up... meaning if you laid the gasket on the ground and filled one of the bores up with water how many cc's would it take?? these are some of the questions you need to answer to be able to accurately determine your cpr.... im if you need help
