Default 4 channels-2 subs

i have a coustic 620 watt 4x50 rms, heard its way underated, anywaym i feel my subs are underpowered so im about to buy some more wire and run 2 channels to one sub...
can this hurt?
the subs are kicker impulses

it wont hurt, just when you get it all hooked up turn the volume way down before you start listenin to it, thats alot of power for an impulse i think, but it should be fine, just be careful and dont blow it up.

great, youve had experience with impulses? please tell me more about them! im about to sell them/trade them for a kicker comp or maybe a comp vr...

i tried it today and it didnt work, wtf?
when i connected the second channel to the sub it cut out!
what am i doing wrong??????????????

hmm thats kinda weired, did you bridge them right? and to the other guy in here ya i know a little about impulses, all i use is kicker subs, right now i have 2 12 inch L7s w/ 2 1600w SPL amps in my rex, and its sooo loud and nice soundin, but comp vr's are sweet. i had two 15" comps before, not vr's, w/ 200w per sub and id wake people up from a couple blocks away.

hey..i have an amp for sale..if you're interested..its a KENWOOD 729s 600W max...300x1...150x2...either way..it'll still push more than what you're trying to push...if not..its okay...good luck on your set up!
