Speedo dropping
Has anyone run into this before?
My speedometer will drop around 20-40mph and shoot back up when I engage a turn signal, or engage the windshield sprayers and wipers at the same time. Interestingly enough, if I engage the right turn signal, the speedo drops, but if I engage the right turn signal again, the speedo doesn't drop. If I engage right then left then right then left, the speedo drops each time. So it's only the initial engagement that seems to mess things up. Also, if I spray the windsheild fluid it has no effect, if I run the wipers there is no effect, it's only when running them at the same time.
Again this is only for about a second, then it shoots back up to normal speed.
Recently (and probably the cause of the issue), I removed my keyed ignition switch (which was pretty useless thanks to some theives and what appeared to be a stanley phillips head screw driver). I replaced it with individual switches running to each wire of the ignition to the BAT wire, and a momentary switch running to the starter from the BAT wire. ACC, IG1 and IG2A are all run through switches to the BAT wire, and they are all "on". The ACC however doesn't seem to do anything?
Anyone have any idea what might be going on? I posted to this forum because I figured it's the best for electrical issues.

Doesn't seem to be. I haven't been messing with this car to long, but it seems to be from an electronic signal. These symptoms seem to be telling me that anyway.
And it didn't start doing it (that I noticed) until I removed the key-switched ignition and hard wired it to my own switches. It was either then, or possibly when the theives prying at the area they knocked something loose.
