Thats quite a bit of milling, i'd get an oem headgasket. Then attach the head and clay for clearance.

35/1000's isn't a super duper crazy mill job, closer to 40/1000+ is though.

Stock/OEM should be your main choice of headgasket though.

(if you haven't yet) You should look into getting some adjustable camsprockets to correct the cam timing once you put that milled head on your block.

Does anyone know how much milling your head will affect cam timing?
Example: For every 10 thousandths off the head your cams will need to be advanced ??? degrees.

my machcine shop teacher says that every 10/1000 will affect timing about 1 degree. also forevery 10/1000 it should raise compression almost 10psi on a compression test.

Well milling will affect my compression so should i get a thicker gasket so that the c/r wont go up?

just get a Honda OEM spec one. the raise in compression ration will most likely not make that much of a difference. I would not worry about detonation either.

This guy on HT i forgot his name said if the motor has 11.5c/r pistons with a stock head, with my head it should be well over the 13.0c/r.

No... my head is a b16a head and I have the JE 5.7 dome pistons and a Cometic .067" gasket... If you're worried about it, talk to cometic. they'll make u a fat-*** gasket if u really want it.
