Looking to do GSR sus/brake swap, a little help please?
I know there's a whole thread called "How to put X brakes on car Y", but I have a few unanswered questions. My current suspension"mods" consist only of GC's with Teg rates and 16x7 Rota C8's with 205/45/16 Dunlop SP9000s...
Here's my plan for my '93 CX:
- GSR full brake swap front and rear including rear LCA's
- 92-95 Si front sway bar
- ITR rear sway with Beaks kit
1. Will I need the front LCA's from a GSR/Si if I want to do that front sway bar?
2. Is there anything you recommend instead of or in addition to these proposed parts?
3. I'm still running stock shocks, and I have limited funds so should I got for some new shocks before the sway bar upgrades?

it'll work, just go to the junk yard and buy the complete thing(just use the gsr front sways).. they'll prolly give you a deal if you get the whole thing from them...
EDIT... dont forget the LCA's...
good luck...

I'm worried about using the GSR front, though. I think it might be too big. What are the sizes for the GSR and 92-95 Si front bars?

I would say to get some shocks, they will help your handling tons! Some suggestions on the shocks are KYB's - Cheap and do the job or if you want go Koni Yellow's - they are the best that you can get out there, rebuildable and if I'm not mistaken have more adjusting options than the KYB's. I have KYb's though and really enjoy them.
When you do put on your sway bars, yes you will need to swap over LCA's from any car that comes w/ a sway bar.
GSR Brakes all you need is the knuckle, rotor, and caliper. It'll fit on any 92-95 Civic Chassis.
Hope this helps... if I contradict myself it's because my brain is fried from studying for this damned final!
