got $1400 for suspension...
well seems like investments have delayed my plans for my car.. and now i have 1400 for mods for my car and i'll have a itr engine in june. what kind of suspension set-up do you recommend? i'll be doing autocrossing.. and soon when classes open up, i'll be hitting sebring for some road racing classes... i was thinking ground controls and koni yellows, but i can get tein ss's for a similar price, or even cheaper. either that or should i go all the way and spend all my money on the tein ra's? what other choices should i think about?

I would go with
Koni Yellows and custom Ground Controls with custom springs rates, since your doing autocross I would recommend, 475 F and 500 Rear
and the cool thing with ground contol is on there web site the have ground-control kit that is a full-coilover.
This would be my vote

Personally, some ITR suspesnion for looks and for stopping power, but then your still left without lowering, so i dunno. If your looking to stay with your current setup, id go the TIEN route, you have the money.

Re: got $1400 for suspension... (egciviccx)
hmm yea i am really highly contemplating the tein, but tein ss's have soft *** spring rates... i can get the ra's for 1400, but it woulda been nice to use some left over money for rear disk brake conversion or something of that nature. stil can't decide though, ground controls i hear are great for the track, but they are not a fully threaded coilover system.. which is where that problem occurs. right now i am leaning towards ra's but they are expensive and i need some nice brakes to go along with nice handling.. ah choices...
