Default 5 bolt vs 4 bolt turbo

hey guys, im looking into buying a Garret T3/To4E 60 Trim, with a .63 A/r Turbine with a stage 3 wheel from http://www.cheapturbos.com. Its only $550, but i realized thats its only a 4 bolt turbo. I was hoping to get the Inline Pro manifold but it only works for 5 bolt turbos. But when i called and talked to stan he said that the 4 bolt turbos are cheap, so he recommended i get a 5 bolt turbo from him, t3/to4e for $899....thats way more. Is there a quality diff in the turbo itself between 5 bolt and 4 bolt? What is a good 4 bolt manifold if i decide to go witht eh 4bolt? I was thinking the NuImage Type-R Manifold. Any experience? thanx guys
Peace

i went from 5 bolt to 4 bolt only for space issues with my 3" DP. Cheapturbo should be able to upgrade to a 5 bolt for fairly cheap... alot less than $899!!!!

why the HELL are the 4 bolt turbos "cheap"? all they are, are a different housing. i have experience with both manifolds and i would go with the nuimage manifold! its an upgradded meing design and it truly makes power.

yea i didn;t get what he meant by 4 bolt turbos sucked, i figured they were exactly the same right? just diff exhaust bolts for the DP. Im thinking about going with the 4 bolt and then getting the Nuimage Manifold. Both the inline and the nuimage manifold are $600. But i hear there are sometimes some problems with the Nuimage manifold cracking, is this true? I mean i heard the inline manifold lasts FOREVER. But im thinking about 4bolt garret with Nuimage, you guys think the manifold will last? Thanx guys, any experience with either manifold is WELCOME

if you talk to the guy at cheapturbos.com im sure he can get you a good deal. i dont see why it would cost any more than 550.

the 4 bolt exhaust side (also called the ballistic housing) is much better then the old 5 bolt version. It [the ballistic housing] will help spool and turbo efficiency

there where some problems with cracking on the old style manifold, but I have seen no problems with any t3t4 e-trims on the nuimage manifolds in the past six months with the new design. there have been nearly twelve of them sold and installed without an issue!

why does it help with spool and efficency? is it just because there is no whole for the internal wastgate to be blocked? please explain! i jst bought a 4 bolt and i would like to know.
