Default alarm door lock problem.

When ever i start my car my dei alarm would lock my doors and whenever i turn off my car it would unlock the doors. Well, now its doing the opposite, its unlocking the door when i start the car and it stays locked after i turn off the car. I just finished my install of the remote start. what is the problem?

Did you change any wiring for the door locks. Sounds like something is reversed. Perhaps the door lock relay wires. Do your door locks plug into the alarm brain or is there a relay pack external? I guess you could always reverse the polarity on your actuators <<MacGuyver fix.

what kinda car, what kinda alarm, does it have factory door locks.

the locks would only be hooked up one way, thers really no way it could work right with the remote and then not work right when the ignition conteolled door locks kicked in.
