Default Stock Header Removal

How do you do it?
I have a civic 89 dx hatch
and i can't disconnect the header from the pipe that connect to the cat because the 3 screws are too hard.
Should I take off the front beam?
Can I take off the front crossmember?

put a lot of WD-40 in it....
soak those ****'s
turn the engine on for 3-4 minutes....
apply more WD-40.. be careful and try to loosen them/..
the lil heat will expand the metal a lil and make them easy to loosen...

if u jjust taking the header out bc u got a performance one.... just use a breaker bar..... brake those bolts....

you could also heat those bolts with a propane torch and give them a smack with a hammer.
i recently had to CUT them to get the cat off
good luck!

Use liquid wrench or another pent oil. It works better. Spray, wait about a 10 seconds and whack it with something to make it vibrate. Take a 10 minute break. I used a breaker bar.

Make sure the bar is square on those bolts or you will round them.
