Installing a Header Today
Spray the cat bolts with wd40.
When removing & tightening the nuts from the head, be very careful not to snap a stud. Its very very easy to do so.
Bring it up from the bottom (common sense).
Clean your fingerprints off of the finish before starting it up for the first time.
Good luck!

As for the bolts - they're easy to snap? As long as you don't use excessive force - (60+ lb-ft of torque), you should be ok.

You should have a socket set with a decent number of sizes. That is about it.
In terms of height; when you are installing a header you need to raise the car high enough so that with the header laid on it's size it will fit under the car.

You just need a jack, ramps or jacks stands, and wheel chocks. As for tools, I did mine with a nice 3/8" torque wrench and small extension.
It was tough getting the nuts off of the old manifold. WD-40 is a must. Oh.. and a hammer.
I drove up on ramps (I don't like getting under jackstands unless I have to). The ramps give you plenty of space to work with.

Thanks for the help, I am taking a break right now cause its raining out and I am working under my car port, so my back is pretty wet. Only one problem, it doesnt seem like my old header wants to come out.
its just one bolt on the right side, right, i got that one. Its lose up top where it bolts up but not where that bracket is, is there another bolt?
I know there were two bolts on the side. I think I took both of them out to make sure that it'll come out. I think you only need to remove one though.
The only other thing holding it on would be the bracket right before the cat.....
