as i head out of my drive way with the r today i noticed a whistling sound coming from my door??? wen i opened my door while moving it sounded like it was coming from towards the bak by the tire??sometimes the sound would stopp and then start again...i have no idea what it is...wen i hopped on the fwy the sound got really loud...recently i purchased 2 new falken tires and their on the back... i still have no clue what it is..? im positive its not the intake bekus thats a different whistling noise....thanks for your help...

no, but right now i have no muffler, can that be why?

ive had no muffler for few weeks bekus lazy to put on but noticed the noise today

hmmmmm i put a set of yohohama tires on my dads car.. and they made lots of road noise. could be yer tires. if it hasnt blown up yet, no biggie

 

my worn down azenis sound like monster truck tires on the highway

 

i have yokohama AVS sports and they kinda make a whistle sound too but i like it!

How in the living hell can you hear a whistle without a muffler. And a whistle from air can only be soo loud. If you hear a LOUD whistle... most likely its from not having a muffler.
