i have a 91 civic hatch back and just the other day my car wouldnt start wouldnt turn over or anything, so i bought a new starter because the i had this same problem before but i put in the new starter and it still wont turn on.... anyone know what it might be? thanks

Instead of buying a new starter go buy a Battery.

 

Before you go run out and buy a battery, did you check if you have any spark at all? Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn over? Does the car turn over at all? Get a jump from someone and see if your car turns on, if it doesn't, then it's not the battery. Don't just go waste your money on something you don't really need. Check your distributor, alternator, etc if the car doesn't start with a jump.

 

my 94 coupe would not start the other day either but before just replacing parts i took a look at it turns out i just needed to adjust the sensor that tells the clutch is in. it could always be somthing stupid so just take u time and look at everthing that makes a car start and u will find ur problem.
