Hi I had recently just purchased a 1990 Acura Integra LS and when I started the car it starts revving itself like when you start it just starts revving from 1,000 to 3,000rpm I was wondering what could be wrong can someone plz help me.

idle sensor..check for vacuums leaks and check your radiator fluid

 

Could be many things. Here are what you should check for.....

1. IAC (Idle Air Control)
2. Check for any Vacuum Leaks
3. Intake Manifold gasket could have a leak which could cause a vacuum leak.


Most likely it's a Vacuum leak so check every single vacuum line to make sure you don't have a leak anywhere.

 

yea check your idle control cause that just happened to my car not too long ago and that was the problem
