Default A/F gauge problem

i have a funny prob. i wired my autometer a/f gauge direct to the ecu and grounded it to the column (steering). and well when i hit my horn it lights up like a x mas tree. dips to lean then when i stop horn it goes back to normal. could it be that i need to shield the signal wire, because it's picking up something from horn circuit? or is it my ground.. i'm kinda stumped.

Lol, I had the same problem, and I never fixed it, I would also assume its the signal wire, technically, they are suppose to be shielded, You may want to try a different ground as well.

your suppose to tap the signal wire about 1 inch back from the 02 . it supposedly wont read correctly at the ecu.

the ground for the horn is by the steering column so you may be getting more current into the af gauge, try grounding it to the shell of something.
