Default Fuel Pressure Guage

I need a fuel pressure guage. I was looking at the B&M, but they don't have an application for the Accord. Are the B&M fuel pressure guages universal, or can they be adapted to my application?

Thanks for any help you can give.

I have a B&M. They do have one for the Accord but I think it mounts on top of the fuel filter or someplace stupid like that. I just went to the auto parts store and got the fuel line fittings. I mounted it inline...

Hey Stew

I know from previous posts that you take pictures of all the work you do to your car , did you happen to snap any photos of the gauge would like to see the the B&M mounted. when you mean online does that mean on the on the fuel line or on the rail?

i have autometer electrical fuel pressure gauge. it's universal, but it's expensive as hell. about $200 to get the electrical, about $50 for mechanical. but mechanical is only supposed to be mounted in the engine bay.

I have pictures but they're at home. I can post them later this evening. The fuel pressure guage is inline with the fuel line. It's mounted so I can just glance over and see it. I looked at the electronic ones and they're nice-if you can afford it. That is correct that you can not mount these inside the car. I coud have mounted it to the end of the fuel rail but it wasn't really visible there. This way's just easier. I'll post them later...

Thats what I run too.

When driving I have a hard time seeing under the hood.

With the old FMU I wanted to be able to see if it was working

i've been told b&m quality is cheap-like their prices... look into a liquid-filled fuel pressure gauge... i've heard that they are more accurate, etc...

Hey Stew, can you list the fittings required to do that? I have mine on my Fuel filter and it's a pain because I had to move that vaccuum switch box on the firewall over, and it's hanging by a drywall screw right now. I'd like to change it like yours.

What I did was I went down to the auto parts store. They sell brass fittings. I brought my fuel pressure guage and a piece of fuel line that I was using. I got a 3-way junction fitting that fit my threaded end of the fuel pressure guage. Then I got two fuel line fittings and threaded them into the other two holes (so fuel would flow unrestricted through). I clamped the lines down and voila!

If I have time this evening I'll try to take better pictures of the back...

Edit: I actually posted it early this morning. Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary with my GF and she would be upset if she saw me on H-T...

Thanks for the pic Stew, just call we a copy-cat but I'm going to try and fabricate something very similar to that because it looks like it works.

Good Job!

Here's a picture of the rear. It's just a 3-way junction fitting and two fuel line barbs. The junction I got a hardware store and the fuel line barbs at an auto parts store. This stuff you really can't see from the other side looking at the guage...
