Default Just got back from tuning @ payn. Pics, #'s, and questions inside.

Here are some pics. Dyno was a mustang, injectors between 80-87%, 6.5lbs.
The car feels insane.

Here are my questions:
1) On the way home is boosted for like 2 seconds while cruising in fifth. When i let off the gas i heard a ping. Was that detonation?

2) Before and after tuning my car has a hiccup between 3800-4200rpm. Just cruising, at tip in or tip out it will kinda surge. Any ideas?

The Surging at around 4,000 is the decel fuel cut that you are feeling. It should only happen under high gear light throttle.

The detonation usually only happens at full load, so if you are feeling something getting out of the throttle, it probably is not a ping.

How was the fuel economy on the way home?

Thanks,

Tom

-Stock b18c, skunk2 IM, 3in dp and exhaust, t3/t4 .63/54, inline pro mani, s100, walboro 255, 440's, drag intercooler and piping.
-As far as the tuning cost. I drove right past places that could have done it for less $$, im glad i did. IM Tom (has post above) for pricing.
-Sorry bout the pics, im new w/ the camera, by the 2nd pic i remembered to shrink the pic size, i guess i didnt go small enough.

That dyno looks like a SC dyno. I have a hard time believing your turbo spools in 200 rpm. If thats your real dyno then it is the best turbo dyno I have ever seen or ever will see.

Its a turbo alright. Fully spooled by 3400. From what i understand thats normal for 3in dp/exhaust and light flywheel. But thanks for the compliment.

Maybe they were already on it, and they just began the rate sampling, and that's what the graph is showing.

Tom Payne, can you dyno my car?! ROFL.

"Tom Payne, can you dyno my car?! ROFL"

Whats that mean? The numbers are very honest and conservative compared to a dynojet.
