Default Is it ok to use synthetic motor oil?

I want to know if it is ok to use mobil 1 synthetic motor oil in my YS1 tranny???
i know they say its ok to use regular 10w 30 but i shouldnt have any issues running a full synthetic right???
just want to make sure....

Well, I remember hearing that the synchros DO need some friction, so you shouldn't run full synthetic. Just use Honda MT fluid! (You can also use 5w30 motor oil, but I would use Honda specific MTF.

get the hond MTF, will like it so much better then motor oil.

Run Redline MTL. I do and it works fine in my S1 tranny. Ran the same for years in my D series tranny. No prob's.
