Default Geddy e-manage for Turbo R

i'm thinking buy a emanage for my turbo R, what do you guys think, should i use AEM EMS or e-manage, which one would be better.
also just wonder if i just the e-manage do i still need FMU and Inline fuel pump also VAFC ?
i'll be running only 4.5psi. what do u think, should i go with e-manage or just leave it with vafc, fmu and fuel pump ?

Get whatever system you can tune better.

Ditch the stock injectors, FMU, and V-AFC and get some 550s.

The E-manage is just a piggyback like the VAFC, tricks the ECU by telling to go to different portions of it's stock map. It's not a full blown ECU reprogramming system.

For this reason, I was going to suggest the AEM at first.

Then I realized that if he can't make use of the AEM unit, he's better off with the Greddy.

This is true.

But there must be a reason why he's narrowed down his choices to these two.

what else can i use ?
last time i post people told me just with FMU (from drag kit) it will run too rich, so i called some shop, they told me i can use ems or e-manage, since they cant tune hondata so hondata is out of question.

so you guys are saying e-manage is just same as vafc ?
is there any other way to make my R safe ?

If the shop can tune the EMS, get that.

The VAFC doesnt even compare to the E-manage. E-manage is 16 point curve while the VAFC is 8 point, you do the math

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=350683 - there are other systems out there - some won't be as cheap.. as mentioned earlier in the thread - your setup will only be as good as you get it tuned. So, if you theres a better shop even 3-5 hours away, its worth the travel.

browse arvhives in FI forum - covers most if not all of systems.

My advice is to get the one that has the bst support in your area...I would have gotten a Hondata, but aside from Sgt's occasional trip to JDM land, I would have no support for it locally. So I wound up getting an Apex PFC...tons of support here for this.

AEM EMS, Greddy eManage, Hondata, Apex PowerFC, Apexi VAFC.. there's probably a few more, but that's off the top of my head..

Can't compare. V-AFC have wayyyyyy less potential IMO.

There are other choices like HKS F-con series? That HKS and JUN uses those to setup cars.
