HELP!!!my idle is at 4k and won't drop.....
Okay, I just installed another D16A6 in my 90 hatch and went to start it up and it idled at 4k and would not go down.I have a TPS sensor from an HF on there an an alternator off of a D16Z6, and a PG7 ecu from a 89 integra.I adjusted the screw on the TB and it did nothing then I unhooked the valve on the back of the IM and it went down to around 1500 and started surging and threw a CEL.I didn't really do anything major to the motor before install: cap and rotor,valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, alternator belt.could it be my timing?Ihave never messed with the distributor except cap and rotor so I don't know if timing is an issue or not.I didn't have a lot of time for a thorough check because it got cold and dark.Any suggestions would be helpful.TIA
