Default is it worth putting ctr pistons in my b18b

is it worth putting ctr pistons in my LS integra? on c-speedracing.com they have a compression calculator and it said ctr pistons in a b18b what put me at 11.4:1 or jdm pr3 pistons would be 11.1:1. i dont want to go over 11.4:1 cause i have read that is about the limit on pump gas without retarding the timming to compensate for pining. what do you guys think. is it worth the power. stock compression is about 9.2:1 so 11.4:1 is a big difference.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish, and what other mods you have done or intend to do. High compression pistons in conjunction with bigger cams, better exhaust system and improved intake system can give you a big boost in hp/tq. It all depends on how far you want to go.
