I'm considering a new clutch and know jackshit about them. Im trying to keep the cost to a minimum. cashflow is kinda running low so i can't really go all out. Any ideas for a decent clutch other than stock... i might as well get an aftermarket clutch since the factory one is $$$$ anyway right.....? is it poss to run a new clutch with the factory fly??? like i said...i know nothing about this issue...any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated...if u post, post prices as well...i have a hook up for install so not worried bout labor...thanks all .....

I heard an ITR clutch and flywheel does wonders on an LS due to the lighter components.

 

clutch master clutch or ACT. They soft, medium and hard settings. Depending on what you get, they can be cheaper than OEM stuff.

Do a search in the Integra Type R forum. This top has been covered there A LOT and you will find more than enough info.

 

yes, you can use a performance slutch with a stock flywheel. Just get the flywheel resurfaced. If your looking for cheap look at a type r clutch, an Exedy replacement (like $190), or maybe a Clutchmasters Stage 1. There are all the same or a bit better than a sotck clutch and won't be too crazy for ya. No reason to go apeshit with a heavy duty pressure plate from ACT or something.
Just wondering, is your car modded or do u plan on modding it? Also what yr and trim (LS, GSR?)

I just got an complete OEM Honda clutch from Len for a REALLY good deal. After shattering my ever so expensive ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate and Street/Strip disk that is suppose to be a high quality race product, I figured that if I was going to be going through clutches that hard and fast it should be with a cheaper priced good quality OEM one. I have never heard of problems with OEM clutches and my stock was fine untill I started to fukk with it. Talk to Len and he will hook you up with a good one.
