Help, I lost 10 psi of fuel pressure over winter...
I've had the car stored for the last month. I went home this weekend to bring my car down to school, so that I can take it down south for Spring Break. I usually have my fuel pressure set at 40 psi, so I was shocked when my B & M gauge was stuck solidly at 30 psi. I don't smell any fuel, so I seriously doubt that it is a leak although I'll check for one on Thursday. Could this be a dirty fuel filter or should I just go ahead and order a new pump?
gas could be flat, probably is actually... unscrew the gas cap and see if you can hear it pressurizing... Just put in new gas, if that doesn't work check, fuel filter and in-tank fuel pump.
The gas is fresh. I'm already onmy second tank this week. Should I just check for a dirty filter on the intank pump?
a filter doesnt get dirty just from sitting...just turn the fuel back up and go for it...
know what it could be(highly doubtful)? The FPR spring wearing down a bit...
just an idea.
I would turn the pressure up and run the dang thing...

The thing that I'm worried about is that I'm running a wet kit and have some races set up for next week.
What's involved in changing a fuel filter?

very easy... unbolt the line from it and unbolt it from the firewall... your done , now you get to put in the new one the same way.
