JRSC OR TURBO please help me decide.....
Ok heres the situation.
I have an 89 CRX b16a
and want MORE.............power
I have a guylocally selling a charger with water injection and an adjustable reg and guages....for a good price.
then I have another guy whos selling a bunch of turbo parts.......for a pretty good deal.
Now either way the turbo will be about an $2000 CDN but on top of everythign I need another trannny so add an extra $1000CDn for tranny and install.
SO
Charger would be good and withing the budget and have some extra
incase anything happens
turbo would be better because I will get more power
but very tight on the budget plus no extra..
Please Help ???

forgetting about the price, there are pros and cons to both setups. doing a search will explain all of these details. but like mentioned above, dont base it too much on cost. instead, make your decision depending on how you will drive it/what you want from your setup.

Turbo is for sissys.
Yes use search and you will find your answer to 90% of all your questions! Trust me I myself am a SEARCH & instant message JUNKIE
look at what you need and want and how much more hp you can afford. Also remember that more HP mean more maintanance required.
Everyone including my self will say "Go turbo" but if it's not right for you and your driving needs don't do it.
I had a jrsc and didn't like it first off all the stupid belt kept sleeping on me all the time and its a pain to adjust then I shredded 2 belts and they cost like 50 bucks plus tax at JRP in missaugua just go turbo dude
Do a search. This is the single most asked question in this forum. I'd say that the jrsc is better if you stay under 10 psi. If you want to boost more than that then go turbo. Here are a couple of things to consider.
A lot of the people who trash jrsc must not know how to install them. Anyone who installs a supercharger and gets LESS power obviously doesn't know what he is doing.
No matter which way you go you will have to get everything necessary to make the system run properly. Don't try to half *** anything or you'll end up trashing your engine.
