My girlfriend acidently broke the arm that controls the windshield wipers. Its just dangling Its located by the steering wheel! on the right hand side by the ignition. Is this piece hard to replace?? The whole arm is fucked up. I can still control the movement of the windshield wipers. WHat should i do???? Go to a dealer or what???? Is it also expensive???

 

i can tell you it WILL be expensive. those little things always are. maybe try a junk yard

 

yep, it's expensive...and you can't just replace that single arm- the whole switch assembly (including the headlight/blinker arm) has to be replaced. I dealt with this on my old Accord and came out $150 poorer. Definitely try and find a junker part somewhere...

junk yard i just got one a couple months ago for 12 bucks

 

its not that expensive....you have to have it (girlfriends ) good thing is that its an easy fix.
