Default Theft Prevention Product. opinions?

Hey whats up

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=434647

Consumer level wheel boot...what do you all think, easily defeatable? Instead of spending money on an electronic alarm, I've pretty much gone the metal route with 2 autolocks, and Im thinking about buying this for excursions to the mall, restaurants, etc....give me some feedback....

Aamir

If you get one of those, make sure you get one that blocks off access to the bolts so thieves can't take your wheel off and swap it with your spare.

i think this product would work great w/ rims that have the lugs blocked and locked i.e. SSR Super Fins, that require a key to get to the bolts. just my .02

Every little bit helps, but that won't stop a tow truck or flat bed from taking it.

This is how I was able to keep my car, I drove it for a year. Then i opened the hood and took it apart. I have 15 boxes of ITR some at dads some at my place, some at my sisters house.

Lets see a thief try to steel that!!!!!

Wheel boot is a great theft prevention tool, but if you daily drive your R, then can you be committed to use it every single time?

List of theft prevention tools. (more the merrier)
1. steering wheel lock
2. clutch/brake lock
3. shifter lock
4. wheel boot w/ lug cover
5. cut-off switches
6. electronic alarm w/ pager (don't even bother if you aren't getting the pager option)
7. tracking device
8. removable steering wheel
9. etc.

Having all of these would be ideal, but can you imagine the # of minutes it takes to put it on & off?

It might take you half and hour to "secure" your car, but it will save you days of headaches without your car!
