Default Protecting wheels

As some you guys know, we save up good money for expensive rims. So how do we protect these for those theiving bastards? Wheel locks will stop your common theif but not from experts. Any suggestions? (I know its safe in the garage but hey we go out side at one point right?)

they make alarms that are triggered when the car is jacked up - there is a level somewhere in the car - and once it reaches a certain point, it goes off.
