Default oversized arp head bolts anyone?

ok so the morons from some shop striped the head bolts on my LS blok... i noticed this when i was installing the arps in the blok... with the head on, i went to torque them but there was one that wouldnt budge.... What do i do... has anyone heard or have experience with oversized head bolts...

You can have helicoils installed, and use stock-threaded studs/bolts.

You can have helicoils installed, and use stock-threaded studs/bolts.
I would never trust a helicoil in a head stud. Thats actually why I'm having mine done, theres one stud hole that has a helicoil in it and I dont want to take the chance of ripping it out. If you going to fix just one then i would suggest a timecert put in. I'm just going to do them all because I'm running a super high cr motor and I dont want to take the chance of stripping one or pulling one or anyhting at all. plus if you pull your head alot(which it seems i do) they wont fatigue as quickly.

whats a timecert and im guessing the shopp has to do it... more info on this would help out... oo, and anyone have the info on ARP oversized headbolts

ok i looked into their website and, well not to sure about it.... dos anyone have positive outcomes..?? and what size would i buy... i sorta need a walk along through this... thanx

Ya RS MAchine has a Head bolt Repair service. It includes new Head bolts and the repair of the block.

If you do call RS, tell them Big Wil from Exospeed sent ya. He'll give you the extra special Exospeed Refferal treatment.
