Default help me find the truth b18c1 rev hard stage 2c

K well I'm about to order all my parts and get my engine rebuilt and turbo charged but i have a few questions before I go with it.

Setup
93 civic coupe ex
b18c1 84mm bore
darton sleeved
Je pistons 84mm 9:1
crower stage 2 turbo cams
crower springs and retainer kit
crower stainless steel valves exhaust28mm 1 mm over intake 34mm 1mm over
crower adjustable cam sprockets
crower 4340 chromoly steel billet connecting rods
holley hp fuel pump
rc 440 injectors
2.5 pipes for exhaust and hi flow cat and magnaflow exhaust
honda data s200 with boost compatiblity
b18c tranny with quaife lsd atb
arp head studs
exedy clutch and chromoly 8lbs flywheel
rev hard stage 2c (keep ac )
my suspension is install already and listed below

a month after the project is done a truck is coming to delaware to tune my car they are sending me a standard chipped ecu for 12 lbs of boost

so a month later they will come down and fix any problems im having...

this all came to the total of 9000 for engine and all parts including labor. my friends shop is doing it and im sure it will be a good job. he has built many drag racing chevy and fords and he use to work at acura when the b18c first came out so he is really familiar with the motor and confident about it.

His concern is reliablity since im the first honda he is building and he says he doesnt want the head gasket blowing every month or something because of the boost. We are using all oem gaskets btw. so my question is to you should i run 9, 10, 11 or 12 lbs of boost for daily reliablity stand point. I know if i wanted reliablity i shouldnt have boosted but do you think i can run 12 lbs of boost with this setup and still stay reliable? This is my first car i have ever built up and i dont want to have to fix something every week...im thinking of just trying 10 psi and leaving it there...let me know what you guys think that have similiar setups.

With 9:1 compression you can boost 15-18psi daily and not have problems. Assuming you have a good tune. So to answer your question. 12psi..

I'm just macking everyone else. Tunning is the key to your issue. I wish i had that much money to throw in my car. You can run 15 daily, tunning and sleeves make the world go round
