aem cai
jdm dc 4-1
2.5 high flow cat (or no cat at all) w/ 2.5 piping

i havent heard that. could very well be but i thought the stock b16a2 exhaust cam wasnt worth swapping with other oem cams (they are very similiar) unless you were going to upgrade to aftermarket (im prolly wrong but oh well)

The setup for any N/A B16 motor is pretty damn broad. CTR intake and ITR exhaust are the exact same as getting both CTR Intake and exhaust. (And than theres the years that the itr switched to the same cam the ctr uses)

Anyways, what you may want to consider is dropping on a 1.8 liter engine. Persay, an ITR or GSR block(on the gsr block, you will need to up the compression) The head on the B16A2 is the same piece as on the ITR, with different internals and a light P+P job. So, decide on what route cam to go, CTR being the smallest uprgrade. Personally I would go with Skunk2 Stage-I or Toda Spec A cams. More high end, and much more mid-range than the CTRs.
Check out the N/A section on http://www.clubsi.com should also give you some more ideas.
Btw- since you're from mission viejo, all the shops are local to go ask questions @, like brandon at inline4, jeff at importbuilders.......and we have CSI meets all the time

heres a dyno of a stock b16 with i/h/e...

two more dynoes from www.bseries.net

JDM B16A block
Stock B16A PR3 head
ITR valve springs
ITR lost motion assembly
ITR cams
skunk2 cam gears
CTR pistons (~12:1 CR)
DC 4-2-1
open exhaust (little resonator)
ITR intake manifold
stock airbox w/K&N drop in & cold air ducting
stock throttle body
skunk2 ECU
Field SFC-VTEC
balanced bottom end
ITR clutch
Muller aluminum flywheel

182.1 whp (SAE Corrected)
122.9 ft-lb (SAE Corrected)

ported head
ported intake manifold
CTR cams
Stock valves with after-market valve springs
68mm Throttle-body
The motor makes peak power @ 9350rpm. At the drag strip, we shift it at 10,000rpm. The car runs consistent 13.1, but we have recorded a 12.9sec pass (full interior). The interior has recently been stripped, but we haven’t taken her to the strip since

189.6 whp (SAE Corrected)
113.2 ft-lb (SAE Corrected)

Cool.. That's what I thought.. Those times in a PIG COUPE/SI didn't seem right.. I know a guy on this board who has CTR pistons, CTR cams, slightly milled head, JDM 4-1 header, BC Spec II exhaust with hf cat and he runs around a 13.8-13.9 with aprx. 180 whp.. You have nice #s

Here is my best dyno

When I dynoed I had:
182HP, 134Lb-Ft
B16A head, mild P&P
B18C1 Block, PR3 pistons 11.1:1 CR
GSR Cams, ITR Valvetrain
ITR IM
JG 64mm TB
APEXi N1 Catback
APEXi GT Header
APEXi VAFC
P28 ECU w/ Mugen Chip
AEM CAI
B&M FPR

I'm in the process of collecting parts for a new setup. Best time in my 99 Si, 13.7@99.6mph
