i know there is no reason for a front mount when using hasports mounts, but guess what? i want to. so dont go off saying this that and the other. i am just seeing if anyone out there knows of a mount that will work if any. and dont tell me this will work or that will work if you dont have it done. i only want to know if you have personally seen it in person. not tryin to be a dick just trying to stop all the chatter thanks.

 

The way Hasport mounts the engine leaves very, very little room to make a front engine mount fit.
You would have to cut the existing mount bracket on the crossmember and move it or make a new one.
You would have a mount to look at, that's it.

 

yea i know its prolly not gonna do anything performance wise. but it will take some stress of the other mounts. i have had the tranni mount break before. and if the front mount was there it prolly wouldnt have. but that is what i was thinkin getting the hcp front mount and making it fit somehow.

 

the chattering is comming from the mounts themselves because of how rigid they are. as far as a front mount, i would recomend an aftermarket crossmember like the place racing unit.

 

I have had the Hasport mounts for over two years, first with a B16 and then with a B18C5. the engine puts down 185 Hp and never have I had a problem with it.
I personally know of several friends with 200+ HP engines with Hasport mounts and no problems, so your concernis unfounded.

 

there is a reason why hasport uses only 3 mounts. whats the reason? email them.
and why hcp uses 4 mounts? email them also.

 

haha there are morons everywhere. not you spaceballs but the other two. what i meant by chatter not the car i just dont want alot of people going on and on about stupid stuff in my post. thats what i mean by chatter. anyways yea i just want a fourth mount because no matter what hasport says and other people say there is still some stress on the mounts from having no front mount. but hey its cool keep your opinions to yourself. i asked if there was a mount or if anyone knew of anyone that made one.no what you think about having a front mount. like i said i could care less what you think i just wanna know if anyone is using a front mount with hasport mounts and if soo what mount.. i dont care what your opinions are.

 

The only feasible way I see to incorporate a front mount with the hasport kit is to get an aftermarket crossmember and design a new mount yourself as was mentioned above. Otherwise you could always switch to the HCP kit...but I don't think you really want to pull the engine

 

hasport makes the motor sits close to the radiator whereas the hcp sits it more towards the firewall. there is no way you can stuff a front mount between the stock xmember and your engine if you are using hasport (correct if im wrong anyone).

 

do not get the placeracing crossmember like on e of the previous posters said.they suck
