Well i was driving 2 work yesterday and i saw a dark gren hatch...i had seen one at school but i thought the guy had it painted or something cause i had never seen them before...they were both CX's.
so i know theres that light green and i guess theres a dark green one too.

does anybody here own one or can tell me what the color code is and what years they came out with that color

Yes there was a dark green color available in like 95. It's a green pearl like in on the integras.

No I know it came on vx's and dx's too. I have seen both in person and both are 95's. It may have come in 94 too but i'm not sure.

 

 

The dark green ones look great. They are pretty rare though - I have only seen a couple.

 

My friend (B18EG6 on here) has a 95 DX with the darker (nicer) shade of teal. I forget the exact color name/paint code...but it definately is darker than the teal most are used to seeing.

 

I believe the darker color is Aztec green and the lighter is Tahitian green.

i have the darker one, i think its called paradise blue green and im pretty sure the lighter ones are aztec green

in the appreance forum, in the teal teal thread you see all the different shades

 

i also saw a lime green one, i think it was stock color, but i have never seen it again, so i could be wrong. i think the guy said he hadn't done anything to the car....is this the tahitian green, i know it isn't the teal.

 

No there's actually THREE greens:

Aztec Green Pearl - lighter teal
Tahitian Green Pearl - lighter teal
Paradise Blue/Green Pearl - Darker teal pictured above

 

Oh by the way, there is no drak green as in a nice hunter/forest green. The only greens found on the 1992-1995 Civic are all shades of teal or blue-green.

The differences between them all seem very negligible. Off a glance more then likely I wouldn't notice this. I assumed they were all Aztec Green or if in a hurry, Teal.

I used to think they were all the same too, then I saw them all next to each other. Tahitian Green is a little more blue then Aztec Green...I always had trouble with that one. Paradise Green like already mentioned is the darkest of the three.

 

It's kinda hard to tell in these pics. If you see the two colors in person it's very noticable, atleast to me.

 

Yeah that pic I posted was taken in direct sunlight, it is actually much darker than that. It's a night and day difference between the two.
