yeah i did. im talking about installing it with coil overs and tokico illuminas. im having a hella hard time pushing the strut up so that it compresses so that i can line the control arm and the damper fork (where the bolt goes through).

grow some nuts, should not be that hard to push it up there, but it must be straight, there is no margin.getting it straight is the most impotant part or it will not go on.

Recheck that you put the shocks together correctly. Then use some elbox grease, a rubber malet, and your jack. They can be a pain sometimes, but with some effort not too tough.

Did you already tighten the pinch bolt that holds the fork onto the damper? I did the following

1 Put for on damper, but did not tighten pinch bolt.
2 Put damper assembly in place.
3 tightened top strut mount screws to hold it up.
4 used a screwdriver to line up the hole between the damper and lcas
5 jacked up the lca to push the damper all of the way into the fork
6 tighten the pinch bolt
7 put the bolt in place as I slid the screwdriver out.
