Default ITR tranny compatible with 7th gen civic

is the ITR transmission compatible with the 2001 civic lx D17a1 engine? If so how much is the full swap conversion? thanks.

uggh id say about a 10 bucks... just need some Ducktape and SUper glue should hold up just fine

cool, ok. where could i buy a complete swap for the manual conversion for a d17a1? im going to do this no matter what.

i don't know if they make a conversion kit, you would have to source all the parts seperately, and it'll probably come with a hefty price tag. maybe sell the car and buy the manual version? save yourself alot of headache.

guess i should just wait then and keep on saving my money.. hopefully they will come out with the kit, damn new cars. i hate driving a slow car. and even thought i work for my car, my dad wont let me sell it.. (hes an idiot) and its all paid off. ill probobly just save up like $1200 and buy an 87 supra for my project and fun driver with stick and if i get sick of stick switch to my civic for a while..

If you want speed, get a bike.

Keep an eye out for a conversion kit or write-up, though. I imagine someone will do it at some point.

nothin, its automatic... soooo boring. but a lot of people tell me i can get more speed from auto. should i just turbo my d17?

yea dont you just love those " i just bought a JDM GSR tranny for my big block chevy motor,..so how do i make it work???" hahaha

anyways,..you should save up and swap it out for a type S motor,..doesnt hasport make mounts for those already???
